Motion approving renewal application.
Summary:
A renewal application has been submitted by the Mankato Curling Club for a Consumption and Display Permit (Bottle club). Such a permit is issued by the MN Department of Public Safety (Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division-AGED), and authorizes the establishment to permit consumption and display of intoxicating liquor on the premises but does not authorize the "sale" of intoxicating liquor.
Property taxes are current, and a background investigation of all persons and premises named in the application reveals nothing that would preclude the issuance of this license. A license fee of $300 will be set for deposit into the city's general fund.
