Report on project and Change Order 1 for Capital Improvement Project 11137; 2025 Wear Course Paving.

In accordance with Section 2-8 of the Mankato City Code, the City Manager is to report as soon as practicable on change orders approved under $100,000.
 
11137 – 2025 Wear Course Paving – Change Order 1

• The Contractor has requested a time extension on the final completion date in order to complete the wear course paving on the Germania Park Phase 4 portion of the project in the spring of 2026. Wear course paving for the Germania Park Phase 4 portion was delayed due to additional sewer and water service work to correct bury depths of previously installed utilities to meet city requirements. As a result, City Staff determined that wear course paving should be completed in the spring of 2026. The original final completion date was July 18, 2025; and the extension date requested for final completion is June 15, 2026, to ensure adequate time and weather to complete the wear course paving.
