Resolution extending a Planned Unit Development for River Bluff Cottages for the construction of 20 single-family dwellings; by request of River Bluff Cottages, LLC.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the resolution extending the planned unit development, as was previously recommended by the Planning Commission and approved by the City Council on July 8, 2025.
Summary:
Riverbluff Cottages, LLC, is requesting an extension of a planned unit development to allow for the construction of 20 townhomes and for flexibility from the rental density ordinance in the R-2, One-and Two-Family Dwelling District. The subject property is described as Outlot A, Sibley Parkway.
The original City Council review of the item occurred on July 8, 2024. The previous approval can be reviewed at this link. The applicant indicated that the project was delayed due to project financing and construction scheduling alignment with upcoming development planning, with construction scheduled to begin late May or early June 2026.
