Resolution approving application to conduct off-site gambling on August 7 & 8, 2026, for Community Charities of Minnesota at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
Licensed organizations may conduct lawful gambling on premises other than the organization's permitted premises for 12 events per calendar year, not to exceed three days per event.
Community Charities of Minnesota paid gambling taxes in the amount of $19,457.14 for the period of January through December 2025. Community Charities of Minnesota's expenditures for January through December were $648,574.33. Of those funds 95.46% have been spent in the local trade area from January through December of 2025.
A background investigation of all persons and premises described in the application reveals nothing that would preclude issuance of the license.
