Resolution accepting State of Minnesota Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
The Public Safety Hazardous Materials Response Team (HMRT) has been awarded a grant from the State of Minnesota in the amount of $5,352.95 for training for team members. This grant is available to all State hazmat teams. There is a cost matching requirement of $1,338.24 which will be met with employee wages.
