Resolution approving application to conduct off-site gambling on October 22, 2026, for Mankato Area Hockey Association (MAHA) at Sky One Eleven Event Space, 111 South 2nd Street, 7th Floor.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
Licensed organizations may conduct lawful gambling on premises other than the organization's permitted premises for 12 events per calendar year, not to exceed three days per event.
Mankato Area Hockey Association (MAHA) paid gambling taxes in the amount of $33,159.01 for the period of January through December 2025. MAHA expenditures for January through December were $1,105,300.33. Of those funds, 100% have been spent in the local trade area from January through December 2025.
A background investigation of all persons and premises described in the application reveals nothing that would preclude issuance of the license.
