Resolution approving application to conduct off-site gambling on October 8, 2026, for Mankato Area Youth Baseball Association (MAYBA) at Loose Moose Saloon and Conference Center, 119 South Front Street.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
Licensed organizations may conduct lawful gambling on premises other than the organization's permitted premises for 12 events per calendar year, not to exceed three days per event.
Mankato Area Youth Baseball Association (MAYBA) paid gambling taxes in the amount of $47,058.00 for the period of January through December 2025. MAYBA expenditures for January through December were $1,568,600. Of those funds, 100% have been spent in the local trade area from January through December 2025.
A background investigation of all persons and premises described in the application reveals nothing that would preclude issuance of the license.
