Set October 26, 2026, as the date of public hearing for consideration of a business subsidy agreement for an equipment loan to Verdant Agritech, LLC.

Summary:
On October 13, 2026, the Mankato Economic Development Authority (EDA) will hold a hearing to consider an equipment loan request from Verdant Agritech, LLC. State Statute requires the City Council to also hold a public hearing and to approve a business subsidy agreement when assistance exceeds $150,000.
It is requested that the Council set the date of public hearing for October 26, 2026.
