Resolution authorizing the State of Minnesota Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) grant application for Training.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
The Public Safety Hazardous Materials Response Team (HMRT) is requesting to apply for a grant from the State of Minnesota in the amount of $31,556.60 for training for team members. This grant is available to all State hazmat teams. There is a cost matching requirement of $9,600.00 which will be met with employee wages.
