Acceptance of Gifts and Grants
Background:
CAB Construction donated 250 pounds of welding rods to East High School, valued at $575. These will be used during Welding I and II as students develop skills in the SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) welding process.
Basil and Linda Janavaras donated $2,000 to the John Basil Janavaras Memorial Scholarship fund.
The L & N Andreas Foundation donated $10,000 to the Central High School TAPP Infant Daycare program.
Tip Top Tux donated $330 to the West High prom.
Mankato Area Foundation donated $270 to the East High Prostart Program.
Timothy Gaarder donated $100 to the East High Hall of Fame.
Krista and Kyle Petzel donated $280 to the East High girls basketball program.
Wells Fargo Foundation donated a matching gift of $180 to the East High School Nick Hoffman Scholarship fund.
