Acceptance of Gifts and Grants
Background:
Quality 1 Hr Foto donated labor and materials valued at $267.50 to East High for the Winter Honors posters.
Capstone Publishing, in partnership with the United Way, donated 850 books to the Early Childhood Screening to ensure that all children receive a book at their appointment. The value of the books is $7,109.
Paul Dettmann donated two Harley Davidson engines valued at $3,200 to the East and West Tech Ed Departments.
Tony & Joan Czmowski donated $50 to the Prairie Winds Middle School VEX Robotics program.
The Mankato Basketball Association donated $500 to East High Boys Basketball.
Scheel’s donated $200 to the East High Choir.
Mike, Julie, Jacob and Noah Drummer along with Drummer Companies donated $50,000 to Prairie Winds Middle School. The gift will be provided at $5,000 per year over ten years and will be in the form of horticultural and landscape supplies for the northern courtyard area and the woods adjacent to it. This will give teachers and students the opportunity to expand their classroom and curriculum into the great outdoors.
