Review of School Board Evaluation

In June, the School Board was evaluated by representatives from leadership and staff.  An evaluation tool was provided by the Minnesota School Boards Association, the professional organization the Board belongs to for leadership development.
 
A study session was held on June 15 to review the results.  Overall, strengths of this Board include:

• communication, integrity, honesty and openness;
• a focus on student achievement and closing the gap;  
• the Strategic Roadmap helps focus on all aspects of District work.

The Board recognizes the need to stay engaged in the continuous improvement process.
