Approval of Individual Transportation Contracts
Background:
State law requires school districts to enter into contracts with all individuals or companies that transport students. There are a number of individual contracts that must be approved.
Various situations in the school district require special arrangements for transportation with either the parent or private contractor. Circumstances, such as length of bus route, medical needs or location of provided services make the individual contract the only valid option.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends the approval of the individual contracts in the memorandum provided to School Board members.
