Acceptance of Gifts and Grants

Background:

The Mankato Area Public Schools FFA Program received the following donations:

$100 from Trent & Mykayla Dado
$1,500 from The Minnesota FFA Foundation

Brandon & Judy Bakeberg donated $500 to East High VEX Robotics Program

Prairie Ecology Bus Center donated to the following:

$2,100 to Bridges Community School
$1,500 to Washington Elementary School

National Wild Turkey Federation Inc donated $500 to Prairie Winds Middle School Physical Education Program

St. Joseph The Worker Mission Group donated 27 Knitted Hats ($50 value) to Franklin Elementary

North Mankato American Legion Post 518 donated Warm Socks ($50 value) to Franklin Elementary

Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTS) donated $5,000 grant to West High YES! Team to reduce the school’s electrical usage on hallway lighting by replacing more than 700 lightbulbs with energy efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends Board acceptance of these generous gifts and grants.
