Recognition of School Board Members
Background:
The Minnesota School Boards Association declared February 17-21, 2020, as School Board Recognition Week in Minnesota as a time to build awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected School Board plays in our society.
Mankato Area Public Schools is joining with other school districts throughout the State to recognize the important contributions Board members make to communities. This evening it gives me great pleasure to thank and recognize our School Board members on behalf of all our students, parents, staff and community members for your outstanding service. Board members, at your place you will find a certificate in recognition of your dedicated leadership in public education and continuing service to the children of this community. Thank you very much!
