Act on Mankato Area Public Schools 2020 Roof Projects Bids

Background:

On March 5, 2020, three bids were received for the Mankato Area Public Schools 2020 Roof Projects

Recommended Action:

The administrative team and Garland Roofing, our professional roofing designer, recommend that the bid as submitted by Schwickerts’ Tecta America in the amount of $859,000.00 for Combination Bid, Base Bid #1 and #2 and $66,000.00 Restoration of Monroe Elementary Section B be accepted by the School Board.  The total bid: $925,000.00. LTFM revenue will be used to fund this project, and will be part of the FY21 budget. A summary of the bids received is attached.
