Distance Learning Update
Background:
Distance learning began in Mankato Area Public Schools on Tuesday, March 31. Per the executive order issued by Governor Walz, schools in Minnesota will implement distance learning plans until at least April 30. May 1 and May 4 have been identified as staff development days in order to prepare for the return to traditional school on May 5.
At tonight’s meeting, Cabinet members will provide an overview on the first week of implementation, along with an update on the ongoing childcare and food service programs being delivered by the school district.
