Resolution Relating to the Termination/Non-Renweal of Teaching Contracts of Probationary and/or Contract Substitute Teachers

Part of the normal staffing process is the adoption of a resolution relating to the termination/non-renewal of the teaching contract of probationary and/or substitute teachers.  The necessary resolution, identifying the teachers affected by the Board’s action is enclosed.  The administration recommends that the Board adopt the resolution as presented.
 
WHEREAS, are probationary or substitute teachers in Independent School District No. 77,  Bethany Aaker, Ashley Alsleben, Bridgette Altmann, Tricia Asher, Ashley Braun, Brittany Bowman, Theresa Calsbeek, Kristin Edwards, Dylan Ek, Amy Forseth Thielke, Jennifer Grosland, Cheryl Herbst, Stephen Hueser, Erik Jacobs, Shana Lang, Jennifer Leslie, Renee Luedke, Ricky Mariner, Carly McPeek, Reanne Meyer, Anna Nelson, Katelyn Royce, Cathleen Schluter, Todd Substad, Sarah Trott, Gaudence Uwamahoro, Ben Winkels, Kyle Wirth
 
          BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 77 that pursuant to Minnesota Statute 122A.40 Sub division 5, and Minnesota Statute 122A.44 Subdivision 2 that the teaching contracts of Bethany Aaker, Ashley Alsleben, Bridgette Altmann, Tricia Asher, Ashley Braun, Brittany Bowman, Theresa Calsbeek, Kristin Edwards, Dylan Ek, Amy Forseth Thielke, Jennifer Grosland, Cheryl Herbst, Stephen Hueser, Erik Jacobs, Shana Lang, Jennifer Leslie, Renee Luedke, Ricky Mariner, Carly McPeek, Reanne Meyer, Anna Nelson, Katelyn Royce, Cathleen Schluter, Todd Substad, Sarah Trott, Gaudence Uwamahoro, Ben Winkels, Kyle Wirth are hereby terminated at the close of the 2019-20 school year.
 
          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that written notice be sent to said teachers regarding termination and non-renewal of their contracts and assignments as provided by law.
 

The Administration recommends approval of this resolution.
