Background:

APPOINTMENTS (NON-AFFILIATED)
Angela Potts - Director of Educational Technology and Information Systems beginning July 1, 2020.  This is a full-time, 12 month non-affiliated position with an annual salary of $108,000 and she will be eligible for category III benefits. 
 
APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Chase Burkhart - Full-time, 1.00 FTEs Choir Director at East High School beginning August 31, 2020 for the 2020-21 school year.  He will be placed at step 7 of the B+30 lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.
 
Lindsey Leonard - Full-time, 1.00 FTEs Special Education Teacher, site to be determined, beginning August 31, 2020 for the 2020-21 school year.  She will be placed at step 1 of the B lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule contingent upon obtaining licensure.
 
Katie Wheelock - Full-time, 1.00 FTEs Special Education Teacher, site to be determined, beginning August 31, 2020 for the 2020-21 school year.  She will be placed at step 10 of the Specialists lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.
 
CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Sabina Alhag - Increase in Student Success Coach assignment at Prairie Winds Middle School from 25.25 hours per week to 36.25 hours per week (7.25 hours per day/5 days per week) beginning April 22, 2020.
 
Amber Schenk - Decrease in Special Education Student Success Coach assignment at Futures from 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week to 6.75 hours per day/3 days per week beginning October 14, 2019.
 
REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Michele Ekstrom, Teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary School, has requested a leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act commencing on April 16 and returning to work on or about May 18, 2020.
 
Haley Nicolai - Revise Board approved leave return to work date to April 29, 2020.
 
Emily Ponwith - Revise Board approved leave return to work date to June 1, 2020.
 
REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Elizabeth Clark, NonClassroom Paraprofessional at Dakota Meadows Middle School, has requested an unpaid leave beginning March 19 and ending on or about May 4, 2020.
 
Amy DeSantiago - Revise Board approved unpaid leave to begin April 8 and continue through the end of the 2019-20 school year.
 
Patti Elmer - Revise Board approved unpaid leave to continue through the end of the 2019-20 school year.
 
Mary Nichols, EL Paraprofessional at Hoover Elementary School has requested a leave, under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act,  beginning April 27 and continuing through the end of the 2019-20 school year.
 
Susan Seys - Revise Board approved unpaid leave to continue through the end of the 2019-20 school year.
 
Molly Smith - Revise unpaid leave to continue through the end of the 2019-20 school year.
 
Wendy Zehm, Special Education Paraprofessional at Rosa Parks Elementary School, has requested an unpaid leave beginning April 16 and continuing through the end of the 2019-20 school year.

Seth Hoscheit - Recreation Coordinator with Community Education and Recreation.  Last date of employment May 1, 2020.
 
RESIGNATIONS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Morgan Ballenger - Attendance/Assistant Principal Secretary at Dakota Meadows Middle School.  Last date of employment May 22, 2020.
 
Grace Behr - Revise last date of employment as ACES Child Care Assistant to June 4, 2020.
 
Emily Hickok - Custodian at Kennedy Elementary School.  Last date of employment March 27, 2020.
 
Julia Hoffe - Special Education Paraprofessional at the Early Childhood Center.  Last date of employment March 5, 2020.
 
Mandy Kurth - ACES Child Care Assistant.  Last date of employment in this position April 24, 2020.  She will continue in her position with Lincoln Logs.
 
Dan Pitzner - Special Education Student Success Coach at Futures.  Verbal resignation with last date of employment April 8, 2020.
 
Emily Rand - Cook’s Helper at West High School.  Last date of employment May 1, 2020.
 
Jordyn Shanks - Special Education Paraprofessional at the Early Childhood Center, effective at the end of the 2018-19 school year.
 
TERMINATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
The following have been terminated from their position as ACES Childcare Assistant, effective as of April 9, 2020.
