Long Term Facilities Maintenance Plan
Background:
At the May 4, 2015, School Board meeting, action was taken to approve a ten-year Alternative Facilities Bonding and Levy plan. The 2015 Minnesota State Legislature eliminated the Alternative Facilities Bonding and Levy, Health and Safety Levy and the Deferred Maintenance Levy and replaced the levies with Long Term Facilities Maintenance revenue. We updated the plan to reflect those legislative changes. The program requires a ten-year approved plan to be submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education.
