Acceptance of Gifts and Grants
Background:
The following gifts have been received by the School District:
The East High Vex Robotics Program received the following donations:
MICO - $1,000
Chesley, Kroon, Harvey & Carpenter - $100
Riverbend Business Products - $100
Discipline Advisors Inc. - $100
Barry and Leah Ries donated $500 to the Michael Ries Memorial Scholarship fund.
Gordman’s donated $773.80 through their Partners in Education Program.
Snell Motors donated $200 to Central High School to be used for the ropes course.
The Mankato Sertoma Club donated $2,186 to be used for transportation for the 2014 sixth grade trip to the State Capitol.
The following donations were received through the Target Take Charge of Education Program:
Franklin Elementary - $332.66
Central High School - $41.58
