APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Gabrielle Essay - Full-time, 1.0 FTEs Contract Substitute Social Studies Teacher at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning October 5, 2020 for the 2020-21 school year.  She will be placed at the B lane, step 3 of the Teachers Association salary schedule.

The following will be teachers in the Central High Night School Program beginning October 13 and ending December 17, 2020.  They will be compensated according to their placement on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

APPOINTMENTS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Kia Anderson - ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School for 4 hours per day/2 days per week beginning October 21 and ending June 4, 2021.  She will be compensated at the rate of $11 per hour.

Grace Behr - NonClassroom (Playground) Paraprofessional at Washington Elementary School for 1.75 hours per day/2 days per week (T/Th) beginning September 5, 2020.  She will be compensated at the rate of $13.49 per hour.

Mackenna Erickson - ACES Child Care Assistant at Eagle Lake Elementary School for 4 hours per day/2 days per week beginning October 12 and ending June 4, 2021.  She will be compensated at the rate of $11 per hour.

Jacob Fitzpatrick - Full-time, 8-hour Evening Floating Custodian beginning October 16, 2020.  He will be placed at classification A13, step 2 of the Maintenance and Custodial Workers Association salary schedule with an hourly rate of $16.

Savannah Friesen - Bus Supervisor beginning October 19, 2020 for 2 hours per day/5 days per week.  She will be compensated at the rate of $13.49 per hour.

Maiya Koch - Bus Supervisor beginning October 13, 2020 for 2 hours per day/3 days per week.  She will be compensated at the rate of $13.49 per hour.

Justin Obiofu - ACES Child Care Assistant at Rosa Parks Elementary School for 4 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 12 and ending June 4, 2021.  He will be compensated at the rate of $11 per hour.

Thomas Warmbrodt - Special Education Resource Paraprofessional - classification B21 at Dakota Meadows Middle School for 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 23, 2020.  He will be compensated at the rate of $13.49 per hour in accordance with the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association.

Naomi Wolf - NonClassroom (Playground) Paraprofessional - classification B21 at Monroe Elementary School for 2.5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 19, 2020.  She will be compensated at the rate of $13.49 per hour in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association.

Christopher Wood - Special Education DCD Paraprofessional, Level 3 - classification B21.5 at West High School for 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 12, 2020.  He will be compensated at the rate of $14.26 per hour in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association.

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Nancy Benson - Change in assignment to Special Education ASD Paraprofessional, Level 3 - classification B21.5 at West High School beginning September 8, 2020.

Hiedi Lambrecht - Decrease in Student Success Coach assignment at Prairie Winds Middle School from 33.75 hours per week to 24.07 hours per week (5.17 hours M/W, 3 hours T/Th, 7.75 hours F) beginning October 7, 2020.

ADVANCEMENT OF PROBATIONARY TEACHERS TO TENURE STATUS
The administration recommends that the School Board take formal action to advance Karen Hauer, Rachel McNamara, Annie Pitcher and Jennelle Zarn to tenure status beginning with the 2020-21 school year.

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Laura Duflo, Special Education Teacher at Monroe Elementary School, has requested a leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act commencing on March 15, 2021 and returning to work June 7, 2021.

Sandra Hatlestad, Teacher at Bridges Community School, has requested a leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act commencing on October 9 and returning to work October 26, 2020.

Cassandra Kolhoff, Science Teacher at West High School, has requested a leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave act commencing on or about February 18, 2021 and returning to work May 13, 2021.

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Heidi Libby has requested an extension of her Board approved leave, returning to work January 4, 2021.

Breanna Tester, Cook at Bridges Community School, has requested a leave beginning March 13 and returning to work May 10, 2021.  She is eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits.

RESIGNATIONS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Tascha Just - School Psychologist-Behavior Analyst at Futures.  Last date of employment in this position will be October 25, 2020.  She will continue in her Parent Educator assignment.

RESIGNATIONS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Jock Deng - Health and Wellness Paraprofessional at Futures, effective as of October 13, 2020.

Morgan Kingsley - ACES Child Care Assistant.  Last date of employment October 21, 2020.

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends approval of the personnel items.
