Background:

APPOINTMENTS (NON-AFFILIATED)
Amy Phares - Billing Specialist with the ACES School Age Care Program at Lincoln Community Center beginning December 3, 2020.  This is a full-time, 12-month non-affiliated position with an annual salary of $41,760 (prorated to $24,000 for 150 days for 2020-21) and she will be eligible for category I benefits.
 
Stacy Wells - Director of Communications beginning November 30, 2020.  This is a full-time, 12-month non-affiliated position with an annual salary of $115,000 (prorated to $67,413.80 for 153 days for 2020-21) and she will be eligible for category IV benefits.
 
APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Tricia Asher - Long Term Substitute Teacher for Emma Sill at East/Central High Schools beginning November 30 and continuing until February 1, 2021.  She will be placed at step 1 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.
 
Sarah Myer - Long Term Substitute Hybrid Teacher at Hoover Elementary School will continue through the end of the 2nd quarter, January 28, 2021.
 
Ashley Ross - Long Term Substitute Hybrid Teacher at Eagle Lake Elementary School will continue through December 22, 2020.
 
APPOINTMENTS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Abigail Alsleben - ACES Child Care Assistant at Kennedy Elementary School for 4 hours per day/2 days per week beginning November 10 and ending June 4, 2021.  She will be compensated at the rate of $11.25 per hour.
 
Mikayla Casias - Special Education Resource Paraprofessional-classification B21 at Franklin Elementary School for 6.25 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 11, 2020.  She will be compensated at the rate of $13.49 per hour in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association.
 
Mia Cich - Early Learning Special Education Paraprofessional at HeadStart - classification B21 and Early Childhood Center - classification B21.5 for a total of 29.5 hours per week beginning November 12, 2020.  She will work 6.5 hours per day/4 days per week (M/T/Th/F) at HeadStart with an hourly rate of $13.49 and 3.5 hours on Wednesdays at the Early Childhood Center for $13.87 per hour in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association.
 
Serennah Johnson - ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School for 5 hours per day/4 days per week beginning November 6 and ending June 4, 2021.  She will be compensated at the rate of $11.50 per hour.
 
CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Michael Dorn - Decrease in Supervision and Security assignment at West High School from 7 hours per day to 6 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 10, 2020.
 
Thabil Gach - Adjust start date as Special Education Student Success Coach at Rosa Parks Elementary School to begin November 16, 2020.
 
Chloe Graif - Increase in Paraprofessional assignment at Little Stars from 15.5 hours per week to 19 hours per week (3.5 hours a day/5 days per week as a Special Education Early Learning Paraprofessional and 1.5 hours as a Regular Education Paraprofessional) beginning November 13, 2020.
 
Shaylin Leskey - Adjust start date as Special Education Paraprofessional at Kennedy Elementary School to begin November 11, 2020.
 
Leisa Rahm - Decrease in Special Education Paraprofessional assignment at Kennedy Elementary School from 6.25 hours per day to 4 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 9, 2020.
 
Austin Sellner - Change in assignment from Special Education DCD Paraprofessional, Level 3-classification B21.5 to Special Education Resource Paraprofessional - classification B21 at Franklin Elementary School beginning November 16, 2020.  He will be compensated at the rate of $14.26 per hour in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association.
 
Eric Sletten - Increase in Health & Wellness Paraprofessional assignment from 6.75 hours per day to 7 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 26, 2020.
 
REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Logan Kohlmeyer - Revise Board approved leave to begin December 8 and return to work January 20, 2021.
 
RESIGNATIONS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
John Bigham, Mathematics Teacher at East High School, has submitted his resignation for purposes of retirement.  His last date of employment will be June 8, 2021.
 
Cynthia Hockert - Correct last date of employment to November 23, 2020.
 
RESIGNATIONS (NONINSTRUCTIONAL)
Gerry Bowe, Counseling Secretary at Prairie Winds Middle School, has submitted her resignation for purposes of retirement.  Her last date of employment will be November 20, 2020.
 
Elizabeth Hartman - Special Education Paraprofessional - Early Childhood.  Last date of employment November 12, 2020.
 
Paula Lanier - Custodian at Prairie Winds Middle School, effective as of November 9, 2020.
 
Autumn Lindgren - ACES Child Care Assistant.  Last date of employment November 16, 2020.
 
Michael Nicklay - Health and Wellness Paraprofessional at INSITE.  Last date of employment November 30, 2020.
 
Kelsey Probach - Bus Supervisor, effective as of October 29, 2020.
 
Makenzie Sellner - Special Education Paraprofessional at Franklin Elementary School.  Last date of employment November 17, 2020.
