COVID-19 Update and Secondary Learning Model Transition Plans
Background:
Since the start of COVID-19, information has been shared with the School Board on the pandemic’s impact on the PreK-12 through Adult programming in Mankato Area Public Schools. Data is reviewed regularly with community, county and state public health experts and continues to drive decision-making across the system.
Tonight’s presentation will share an update on local infection rates and the learning models currently in place across the school district. Cabinet members will also provide details on how the school district intends to transition secondary students to hybrid learning in early February. All transition plans are contingent on the continued decline of COVID-19 rates in Blue Earth and Nicollet County.
