MAPS-MnEEP Update
Background:
At the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, Mankato Area Public Schools launched a year-long collaboration with the Minnesota Education Equity Partnership (MnEEP). This partnership was developed to support and accelerate our efforts in developing a racial equity vision and framework to guide school district work.
Since August, there have been several developments, including the completion of a race readiness pre-assessment, district leadership retreat, and the establishment of a working group to assist in the planning and implementation of initiatives later this year.
Tonight’s update will be a mid-year review of our work together thus far and of what is to come later this school year.
