Acceptance of Gifts and Grants

Background:

MNMYF donated $7,500 to Dakota Meadows 7th Grade Football Program and $7,500 to Prairie Winds 7th Grade Football Program

M & M Signs donated $500 to West High Basketball Program

The West High Basketball Program Scoreboard received the following donations:

$1,000 from City of North Mankato
$1,000 from Lloyd Management Inc
$2,500 from Brad Haugum Memorial
$100 from Wayne & Kim Veroeven

Dotson Iron Castings donated $2,000 to East High Trades & Industry Program

City of North Mankato donated to the following programs:

$500 to Mankato Area Public Schools 77 Lancers
$500 to Community Education & Recreation
$500 to Dakota Meadows Middle School
$500 to Monroe Elementary School
$500 to Hoover Elementary School
$500 to ISD #77 Student Activities

Minnesota Association of Future Farmers donated $224.25to Mankato Area Public Schools FFA Program Minigrant

Minnesota FFA Foundation donated $1,500 to Mankato Area Public Schools FFA Program Grant

Greater Mankato Growth Inc donated $7,500 to the Mankato Area Public Schools Greenhouse Project Grant

Eagle Lake Elementary School Snack Program received the following donations:

$500 from Eagle Lake American Legion Post 617
$100 from Eagle Lake American Legion Auxiliary

Genyouth Inc donated $2,000 to Mankato Area Public Schools Food Service

Evan Harrenstein donated a Zing Stander (6,500 value) to Mankato Area Public Schools Student Support Services

United States Tennis Association donated $15,500 to East High Tennis Program Grant for courts

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends Board acceptance of these generous gifts and grants.
