Approval of Pay Equity Compliance Report

Background:

The District is required to submit the Pay Equity Implementation Report to the State of Minnesota on or before January 31, 2021.  The data contained in the report is to represent compensation data as of December 31, 2020.  The report was submitted to the State of Minnesota on January 29, 2021, and the report data may be amended through February 12, 2021. In addition to submitting the report, the District must send a notice to all exclusive representatives and post the same notice in a prominent location for at least 90 days from the date the report is submitted.
 
The data contained in the enclosed report has been entered into the software provided by the State of Minnesota.  This is the same software that the State of Minnesota will use to analyze the data and issue its findings.  Based on this data, the Underpayment ratio is 126.94%, the Salary Range Test results in a ratio of 80.60% and the Exceptional Service Pay Test is 123.59%.  For the District to be in compliance, all of these figures must be greater than or equal to 80.0.  I am pleased to say that the preliminary report shows the district to be in compliance.

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends that the report be finalized as presented.
