Approval of MAPS Learning Model Shift - Secondary
Background:
Based on recommendations from our community partners, and in response to new guidance set forth by the Minnesota Department of Education and Minnesota Department of Health, MAPS is prepared to transition 6-12 students from hybrid to in person learning the week of February 22.
Tonight’s presentation will provide an overview of the recommendation and the plans that have been developed to implement this shift. Last week, the School Board received an informational update on the school district’s plan to return secondary students (grades 6-12) to in person learning on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Recommended Action:
The administration recommends secondary (6-12) students return to in person learning model beginning February 25, 2021.
