APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Talin Scherping - Long Term Substitute Science Teacher for Cassie Kolhoff at West High School beginning February 22 and ending April 30, 2021. He will be placed at step 1 of the B lane on the Teacher Association salary schedule.

Morgan Taubert - Long Term Substitute teacher for Trisha Hasty at Eagle Lake Elementary School beginning March 10 and ending June 6, 2021. She will be placed at step 1 of the B lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

APPOINTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Ariet Didumo - Family Ambassador at Kennedy Elementary School for 5 hours per month beginning February 17 and ending May 31, 2021. She will receive a stipend of $100 per month.

Aaron Hartwell - 77 Lancers Marching Band 2021 season Head Winds Captain beginning February 12, 2021. He will receive $1,200 annually for this assignment, $300 paid on May 15, and $900 on June 30, 2021.

Mandy Kurth - ACES seasonal Site Supervisor at Lincoln Community Center for up to 5 hours per week beginning February 18 and ending June 4, 2021. She will be compensated at the rate of $16.50 per hour. 

Allish Myking - Non-Classroom (Playground/Lunchroom) Paraprofessional at Monroe Elementary School for 2.5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning February 26, 2021. She will be placed at classification B21, step 1 in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association with an hourly rate of $13.49.

Darci Pendergast - ACES Child Care Substitute at Monroe Elementary School beginning March 1 and ending June 4, 2021. She will be compensated at the rate of $12.25 per hour. This is in addition to her Special Education Paraprofessional assignment. 

Courtney Simonette - Counseling Secretary at West High School beginning February 26, 2021. This is a full-time, 8 hour per day/5 days per week for 229 days and 9 holidays per year. She will be placed at classification B21, step 1 of the Educational Secretaries Association salary schedule with an hourly rate of $15.95. 

Sarah Thursby - 77 Lancers Marching Band 2021 season Head Color Guard Captain beginning February 12, 2021. She will receive $1,200 annually for this assignment, $300 paid on May 15, and $900 on June 30, 2021. 

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Isabella Ciolkosz - ACES Child Care Assistant increase in hourly wage to $11.00 per hour beginning February 16, 2021.

Kari Csizmadia - Transfer from Receptionist to Activities Secretary at West High School beginning February 15, 2021.  This is a full-time, 229 days per year and 9 holidays assignment. She will be placed at step 10, classification B21 on the Educational Secretaries Association salary schedule with an hourly rate of $20.25.

Julia Domas - ACES Child Care Assistant increase in hourly wage to $11.25 per hour beginning February 16, 2021.

Jane Flintrop - Increase in the assignment as Special Education Paraprofessional at Dakota Meadows Middle School from 5.5 hours per day/5 days per week to 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning February 18, 2021. 

Brooklyn Haley - ACES Child Care Assistant increase in hourly wage to $11.25 per hour beginning February 16, 2021.

Alexa Heimer - Correction in decrease to Special Education Student Success Coach assignment at Monroe Elementary School from 6.25 hours per day/5 days per week (M-F) to 6.5 hours per day/3 days per week (M, W, F) and 5.33 hours per day/2 days per week (T, TH) beginning January 19, 2021.

Whitney Jackson - ACES Child Care Assistant increase in hourly wage to $11.00 per hour beginning February 16, 2021.

Calie Schumann - ACES Child Care Assistant increase in hourly wage to $11.25 per hour beginning February 16, 2021.

LuAnn Shoop - Change in Intervention Paraprofessional assignment at Washington Elementary School from 2.5 hours per day/4 days per week to 5 hours per day/2 days per week beginning March 2, 2021. 

CORRECTIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Karen Hammerlein - Correction to hours and start date. Special Education, Level 3 Paraprofessional at Roosevelt Elementary School for 5.5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning February 24, 2021. She will be placed at classification B21.5, step 1 in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association with an hourly rate of $13.87.

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-AFFILIATED)
Laura Hoekstra - Nutrition and Wellness Specialist at Northport has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning April 9 and returning to work on July 2, 2021. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Alissa Ross - Elementary Counselor at Washington Elementary School has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning May 29 and returning to work on September 27, 2021. 

Christina Woodside - Teacher currently on Board approved leave has requested unpaid leave for the 2021-22 school year.

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Luann Shoop -  Interventions Paraprofessional at Washington Elementary School has requested an unpaid leave beginning February 1 and returning on March 2, 2021. 

Sharon Starkey - Interventions Paraprofessional at Washington Elementary School has requested an unpaid leave beginning March 2 and returning to work on April 6, 2021. 

RESIGNATIONS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Catherine Klaseus-Neve - Math Teacher at West High School has submitted her resignation for purposes of retirement.  Her last date of employment will be June 8, 2021.

Alexander Liebl - Special Education Resource Paraprofessional at Monroe Elementary School. Last date of employment March 5, 2021. 
 

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends the approval of the personnel items.
