Act on 2021-2022 Breakfast/Lunch Prices
Background:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has established minimum price requirements for paid school lunches. Student breakfast and lunch for the 2020-21 school year were served at no charge. This no charge status has been extended through June 2022, and the 2021-22 school year.
* Adult pricing under the Seamless Summer Option (The new free meal service we are offering in the fall.) is still pending with the USDA. Once the district receives these thresholds from USDA, we will bring the updated pricing to the school board this summer.

Recommended Action:
The administration recommends that Food Service prices be established for the 2021-2022 school year as presented. Student meal prices remain the same in 2021-22 as they currently are.
