Approval of Adult Meal Prices

Background:

Typically, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) establishes minimum price requirements for adult meals based on program type. This year, MDE is allowing school districts to set prices for adult meals. The recommended prices for 2021-2022 are as follows:

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends that Food Service prices be established for the 2021-2022 school year as presented. These prices represent the flexibility to charge the mandated minimum price for adult meals based on the program the district is participating in at that time.
