Approval of Community Education By-Laws
Background:
The Community Education Department has removed ‘Recreation’ from the title, as that area of work is no longer a major element within the department. The department is in the process of addressing this change of name in all internal and external communications. As a result of the name change, the by-laws have been simplified and the scope of authority or responsibility given to the advisory council has been adjusted accordingly. The Advisory Council reviewed and approved the changes at their September 22 meeting and are being brought to the School Board for final approval.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends approval of the Community Education By-laws.
