Background:

Steven & Adela Vandever donated $100 to Rosa Parks Elementary in memory of Jill Gause

The following were donated to Connecting Kids Program:
  • $1,000 from Mankato Area Foundation
  • $1,000 from Scheels

Pamela S. Bartholomew donated $100 to Central Freedom School

Robert & Carla Chesley donated $1,000 to Central High School for Students in Need

The following were donated to West High Orchesis:

The following donated to Mankato Area Public Schools FFA Program:
  • $1,500 from Master Technology Group
  • $1,500 from The Minnesota FFA Foundation

Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council donated $1,550 to East High Orchestra String Fest Grant

Morgan Family donated VEX IQ Game Field ($1,200 value) to Community Education VEX Robotics Program

Dennis & Vivian Siemer Foundation donated $2,800 to East & West High VEX Robotics Programs

David L. Machado donated $800 to East High VEX Robotics Program

M & M Signs donated $500 to West High Baseball Program

Prairie Ecology Bus Center donated the following:
  • $400 to Jefferson Elementary for Ecology Bus Grant
  • $1,700 to Hoover Elementary for Ecology Bus Grant

Barry & Leah Ries donated $500 to West High Michael W. Ries Memorial Scholarship
 

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends Board acceptance of these generous gifts and grants.
