Background:

APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Sonia Barker - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Special Education Homebound Teacher beginning October 3, 2022, for the 2022-23 school year. She will be placed at step 1 of the B+30 lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

The following will be teachers in the Central High Night School Program for 3.75 hours per day/2 nights per week beginning October 4, 2022, and ending December 15, 2022. They will be compensated according to their placement on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

APPOINTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Samantha Guinn - Health and Wellness Paraeducator at SUN for 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 3, 2022. She will be placed at classification B22.5, step 2, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association. 

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Ashley Iverson - Correction - Adjust salary lane advancement from M+30 to M+45, retroactive to the beginning of the 2022-23 school year.

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Tammy Ochs - Change in assignment from Student Success Coach, classification B22, to Special Education Paraeducator, classification B21.5, at Monroe Elementary School for 3.25 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 5, 2022. She will be compensated according to her placement on the Minnesota School Employees Association salary schedule.

Keandra Olson - Change in assignment from ACES Child Care Assistant at Bridges Community School to ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute on an on-call basis beginning September 29, 2022, and ending June 7, 2023. 

Rebecca Radzak - Change in assignment from ACES Child Care Assistant at Roosevelt Elementary School to ACES Site Lead at Jefferson Elementary School for 5-6 hours per day/5 days per week beginning October 3, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $16.00 per hour.

Kallie Schneider - Change in assignment as Non-classroom (Playground) Paraeducator from 2.34 hours per day/2 days per week at Jefferson Elementary School to 1.75 hours per day/2 day per week at Washington Elementary School beginning September 26, 2022. This is in addition to her ACES Child Care Assistant assignment at Washington Elementary School. 

Austin Sellner - Correction - Decrease in assignment as Student Success Coach at Franklin Elementary School from 7.75 hours per day/4 days per week (M-TH) and 6.25 hours per day/1 day per week (F) to 6.42 hours per day/5 days per week beginning September 8, 2022. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Renee Unger - DAPE Teacher for the District, has requested unpaid leave beginning September 28, 2022, and continuing through the end of the 2022-23 school year.

Kristin Van Otterloo - MLL Teacher at East High School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning February 22, and continuing for a period of 12 work weeks, then continuing with unpaid leave until returning to work on June 8, 2023. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Tammy Ochs - Extend Board-approved leave, returning to work on October 5, 2022.

RESIGNATIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Sonia Barker - Health and Wellness Paraeducator at West High School has submitted a resignation in order for her to accept a teaching assignment. The last day for this assignment will be September 30, 2022. 

Kylie Bisbee - ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be October 12, 2022.

Keandra Olson - Special Education Paraeducator at Monroe Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be September 27, 2022. She will continue as ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute.

Oman Oman - Special Education and Non-classroom (Playground) Paraeducator at Washington Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be October 6, 2022. 

TERMINATION (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Mary Gach - Health and Wellness Paraeducator at Futures, effective May 27, 2022. 

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends approval of the personnel items.
