Background:

APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Kay Dedinsky - Long-term Substitute Teacher for Margaret Mueller at Washington Elementary School beginning October 31 and ending December 16, 2022. She will be placed at step 10 of the B+30 lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Madelyn Rasmussen - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Contract Substitute Teacher for Erica Demmer-Kennedy at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning December 13, 2022, and ending April 28, 2023. She will be placed at step 1 of the B lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

APPOINTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Jennifer Denn - Non-classroom (Playground) Paraeducator at Washington Elementary School for 2 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 10, 2022. She will be placed at classification B21, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Ola Hassan - Interpreter for the District on an on-call basis beginning November 8, 2022. She will be compensated at the rate of $25.00 per hour.

Alyssa Saiquita - Interpreter for the District on an on-call basis beginning November 7, 2022. She will be compensated at the rate of $25.00 per hour.

Calie Schumann - ACES Site Lead at Bridges Community School for 5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 7, 2022, and ending September 7, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $16.00 per hour. 

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Vesna Bozhinoska - Adjust salary placement on the Teachers Association salary schedule to step 10 of the M+45 lane beginning with the 2022-23 school year.

Lucinda Mendez - Adjust end date to November 23, 2022, for her Long-term Substitute Teacher assignment at Prairie Winds Middle School. 

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Jordyn Manderscheid - Increase in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator at MAPS Center for Learning from 7 hours per day/2 days per week (M/W) and 3.5 hours per day/1 day per week (T) to 7 hours per day/2 days per week (M/W) and 4.25 hours per day/1 day per week (T) beginning October 3, 2022. 

Rose McGregor - Decrease in assignment as Health Care (LPN/RN) Paraeducator at Roosevelt Elementary School from 6.5 hours per day/5 days per week to 6.5 hours per day/2 days per week (T/TH) beginning December 1, 2022. 

Zoey Weller - Increase in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator at Prairie Winds Middle School from 6.83 hours per day/2 days per week (W/TH) to 6.75 hours per day/3 days per week (W-F) beginning November 9, 2022. 

Amanda Yock - Adjust start date to June 20, 2022 for her Health and Wellness Paraeducator, assignment at Washington Elementary School.

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Kristina Bollum - Health/Physical Education Teacher at West High School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning April 27, 2023, and continuing through the end of the 2022-23 school year.

Wade French - Health/Physical Education Teacher at Central and East High Schools, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning January 17 and returning to work on February 24, 2023. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Karen Rivera - Extend Board-approved leave, returning to work on December 17, 2022. 

Gregory Thompson - Head Custodian at West High School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning October 17 and returning to work on November 1, 2022. 

RESIGNATIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Melody Born - ACES Child Care Assistant at Kennedy Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be November 16, 2022. 

Claire Gilliat - Special Education Paraeducator at West High School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be June 3, 2022. 

Zoe Macklanburg - ACES Child Care Assistant at Jefferson Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be October 28, 2022.

Haley Ross - ACES Student Support Assistant at Franklin Elementary and Rosa Parks Elementary Schools, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be November 14, 2022. 
 

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends the approval of the personnel items.
