Background:

APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Alexander Gilbertson - Long-term Substitute Teacher for Ashley Iverson at West High School beginning November 14, 2022, and ending February 17, 2023. He will be placed at step 10 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

Jennifer Sundermeyer - Change in assignment from Part-time (0.90 FTEs) Reading Intervention Teacher to Full-time (1.00 FTEs) 4th Grade Teacher at Jefferson Elementary School beginning November 15, 2022, and ending June 7, 2023. 

APPOINTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Nicole Helget - Special Education Paraeducator at Prairie Winds Middle School for 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 21, 2022. She will be placed at classification B21.5, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Ella Potter - Early Learning Special Education Paraeducator at MAPS Center for Learning for 7 hours per day/4 days per week beginning November 28, 2022. She will be placed at classification B21.5, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Ongelle Schroeder - Special Education Paraeducator at Bridges Community School for 3 hours per day/2 days per week (M/W) and 6.5 hours per day/1 day per week (F) beginning November 28, 2022. She will be placed at classification B21.5, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Katie Haala - Decrease in assignment as Ready for Kindergarten Facilitator at the Family Learning Center from 82.5 annual hours to 67.5 annual hours beginning December 5, 2022. This is in addition to her Early Childhood Special Education Teacher assignment at the Family Learning Center.

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Caroline Brand - Increase hourly rate to $13.00 as ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School beginning December 16, 2022. 

Brady Buth - Increase hourly rate to $13.25 as ACES Child Care Assistant at Hoover Elementary School beginning December 16, 2022.

Vanessa Dahlgren - Increase hourly rate to $12.75 as ACES Child Care Substitute at Franklin Elementary School beginning December 16, 2022. 

Dakota Kamm - Decrease in assignment as ACES Child Care Assistant at Rosa Parks Elementary School from 4 hours per day/4 days per week to 4 hours per day/1 day per week beginning December 5, 2022, and ending June 7, 2023.

Lily Pokornowski - Increase hourly rate to $12.75 as ACES Child Care Assistant at Washington Elementary School, beginning December 16, 2022. 

Karen Severns - Increase in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator at Roosevelt Elementary School from 6.25 hours per day/5 days per week to 6.5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 17, 2022. 

Reagan Thompson - Increase hourly rate to $12.50 as ACES Child Care Assistant at Eagle Lake Elementary School beginning December 21, 2022. 

Raelea Wolfe - Increase in hourly rate to $12.75 as ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute beginning November 26, 2022. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Alexandra Christian - Social Studies Teacher at Prairie Winds Middle School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning March 29 and returning to work on May 10, 2023. 

Elizabeth Lewis - Special Education Teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning October 24, 2022, and returning to work on January 3, 2023. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Denise Balbach - Special Education Paraeducator at Monroe Elementary School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning December 1, 2022, and returning to work on January 26, 2023. 

Mary Nichols - MLL Paraeducator at Hoover Elementary School, has requested leave beginning October 24 and returning to work on November 21, 2022. She is eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits.

Jennifer Schmitt - Extend Board-approved Leave, returning to work on November 30, 2022. 

Laycon Robinson - Special Education Paraeducator at Rosa Parks Elementary School, has requested leave beginning November 17, 2022, and returning to work on January 4, 2023. She is eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits.

RESIGNATIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Olivia Bosetti - ACES Child Care Assistant at Rosa Parks Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be December 2, 2022. 

Patricia Gardner - Health Care Paraeducator at Prairie Winds Middle School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be November 29, 2022. 

Augustus Nelson - ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be November 17, 2022.

Eric Sletten - Health and Wellness Paraeducator at SUN, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be December 22, 2022. 

TERMINATIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Ellen Fischenich- ACES Child Care Assistant at Bridges Community School, effective November 18, 2022.

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends the approval of the personnel items.
