2022-23 MAPS Legislative Platform
Background:
The MAPS Legislative Committee met several times in preparation for the 2023 legislative session that has now begun in Saint Paul. The school district’s committee is comprised of School Board members, district leaders, students and parents.
At tonight’s meeting, an overview of the themes and components of the MAPS 2023 Legislative Platform will be shared, along with an update from the meeting held with area legislators on December 19. Historically, the MAPS School Board has participated in MSBA ‘Day at the Capitol’ and other public education advocacy events.
