Background:

APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Jenna Harder - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) School Psychologist for the District beginning August 21, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. She will be placed at step 2 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Sandra Hasse - Adjust dates as Long-term Substitute Teacher for Alexandra Christian at Prairie Winds Middle School beginning March 15 and ending April 18, 2023. 

Mandi Kopischke - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Elementary Mentor Coach (TOSA) at Franklin Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary Schools beginning July 1, 2023, and continuing through June 30, 2027.

Andrea Nett - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Spanish Teacher at East High School beginning August 21, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. She will be placed at step 2 of the B+30 lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Megan Sedivy - Long-term Substitute Teacher for Mary Jane Sletten at Bridges Community School beginning April 10 and ending June 8, 2023. She will be placed at step 4 of the B lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Diane Substad - Long-term Substitute Teacher for Alison Schugel at Monroe Elementary School beginning April 17 and ending June 8, 2023. She will be placed at step 10 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

APPOINTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Brandon Eggersdorfer - 4-Hour, 9-month, Evening Custodian at Bridges Community School beginning April 24, 2023. He will be placed at classification A13, step 2, in accordance with the agreement between the District and Minnesota School Employee Association. 

Brianna Hoppe - ACES Child Care Assistance at Hoover for 4 hours per day/5 days per week beginning May 16, and ending June 7, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $13.25 per hour. 

Kaleb Kirsch - ACES Child Care Assistant at Washington Elementary School for 4 hours per day/3 days per week beginning April 19 and ending June 7, 2023. He will be compensated at the rate of $12.50 per hour.

Cheradin Ralph - ACES Site Lead Substitute on an on-call basis beginning April 12, and ending June 7, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $16.00 per hour. This is in addition to her ACES Child Care Assistant assignment at Franklin Elementary and Monroe Elementary Schools. 

Brinly Simmons - ACES Child Care Assistant at Roosevelt Elementary School for 4 hours per day/1 day per week beginning April 24 and ending June 7, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $13.50 per hour. This is in addition to her Special Education Paraeducator assignment at Roosevelt Elementary School. 

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Jane Flintrop - Increase in assignment as Student Success Coach at Prairie Winds Middle School from 5 hours per day/4 days per week (M/T/TH/F) to 6.75 hours per day/4 days per week (M/T/TH/F) beginning April 13, 2023. 

Laycon Robinson - Increase in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator at Dakota Meadows Middle School from 3 hours per day/5 days per week to 5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning April 17, 2023. 

Ongelle Schroeder - Increase in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator at Bridges Community School from 6.5 hours per day/3 days per week (M/W/F) and 4 hours per day/2 days per week (T/TH) to 6.5 hours per day/5 days per week beginning May 12, 2023. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Alexandra Christian - Extend Board-approved leave, returning to work on April 19, 2023. 

Karla Giesen - Media Specialist at Rosa Parks Elementary School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning April 17 and returning to work on May 30, 2023. 

Mary Jane Sletten - 1st Grade Teacher at Bridges Community School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning April 10 and continuing through the end of the 2022-23 school year. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Gregory Thompson - Extend Board-approved leave, returning to work on April 17, 2023. 

RESIGNATIONS (ADMINISTRATIVE)
Monde Schwartz - Principal at Prairie Winds Middle School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be June 30, 2023. 

RESIGNATIONS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Joan Frentz - Teacher currently on leave has submitted a resignation, effective at the end of the 2022-23 school year.

Brittany Jensen - Adjust end date to July 20, 2023, as Special Education Teacher at Monroe Elementary School.

Tyler Kamm - Occupational Therapist for the District, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be June 8, 2023. 

Ashley Larson - Teacher currently on leave has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be April 14, 2023. She will continue as a Substitute Teacher for the District.  

Briana Miller - Teacher currently on leave has submitted a resignation, effective at the end of the 2022-23 school year.

Diane Substad - Rescind acceptance as long-term Substitute Teacher for Daniel Blaisdell at Monroe Elementary School.

RESIGNATIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Sophie Dauk - ACES Child Care Assistant at Bridges Community School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be June 7, 2023. 

Adelynn Mason - ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute at Hoover Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be May 5, 2023. 

Kaeli Oquist - Special Education Paraeducator at Bridges Community School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be May 11, 2023. 

Kallie Schneider - ACES Child Care Assistant and Non-classroom (Playground) Paraeducator at Washington Elementary School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be April 24, 2023. 

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends the approval of the personnel items.
