Adalis Arias - Building Technology Assistant at Dakota Meadows Middle School for 6.5 hours per day/5 days per week, with a work year of 175 days beginning August 28, 2023. This is a Non-affiliated assignment, with an hourly rate of $18.00 per hour. She will be eligible for Category I Benefits.

Brittany Galetka - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Dean of Students (TOSA) at East High School beginning August 21, 2023. She will be placed at step 10 of the SPEC lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule with a work year of 10 additional contract days per year.

Alexander Gilbertson - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) PEEK Program Lead with the Area Learning Center beginning August 21, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. He will be placed at step 10 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule, contingent upon obtaining licensure.

Kristin Kimmes - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Youth Mental Health Navigator at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning August 21, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. She will be placed at step 5 of the B lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

Tanya Schwamberger - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Special Education DAPE Teacher for the District beginning August 28, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. She will be placed at step 7 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Martha Speckel - Speech Language Pathologist with the ECSE Summer Program at MAPS Center for Family Learning for a total of 110 hours beginning June 12 and ending August 11, 2023. She will be compensated according to her placement on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

Amber Volkman - Long-term Substitute Teacher for Julia Milne at Rosa Parks Elementary School beginning August 28 and ending December 22, 2023. She will be placed at step 10 of the B lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Megan Weerts - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Special Education Teacher at East High School beginning August 28, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. She will be placed at step 10 of the SPEC lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule. 

Peter Wittmer - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Dean of Students (TOSA) at West High School beginning August 21, 2023. He will be compensated according to his placement on the Teachers Association salary schedule with a work year of 10 additional contract days per year.

Kelsey Bellig - Second Cook at Roosevelt Elementary School for 6 hours per day/5 days per week beginning August 14, 2023. She will be placed at classification A13, step 3, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Megan Denhof - – Early Learning Special Education Paraeducator with the ESY Summer Program at MAPS Center for Learning for 3.5 hours per day/4 days per week beginning July 10 and ending August 3, 2023. She will be placed at classification B21.5, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Alyssa Hatlestad - ACES Student Support Assistant at Washington Elementary School for 3 hours per day/5 days per week beginning June 26, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $14.00 per hour.

Mandy Kurth - ABE Teaching Assistant with the ABE ESL Summer School Program for 5.25 hours per day/3 days per week (T-TH) beginning July 10 and ending August 3, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $17.00 per hour. This is in addition to her Childcare Lead Teacher and GED Proctor assignments with the Adult Basic Education Program. 

McKenzie Lee - ACES Child Care Assistant at Franklin Elementary School for 5-8 hours per day/5 days per week beginning June 22, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $11.50 per hour.

Mark McCarthy - 8-Hour, 12-month Floating Day Custodian for the District beginning July 10, 2023. He will be placed at classification A13, step 4, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Derik McGregor - ACES Child Care Assistant at Washington Elementary School for 5-8 hours per day/5 days per week beginning June 26, 2023. He will be compensated at the rate of $13.00 per hour. 

Allisha Myking - Student Information Secretary at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning August 21, 2023. This assignment is for 4 hours per day/5 days per week with a work year of 190 days. She will be placed at step 5, classification B21 of the Educational Secretaries Association salary schedule.

Kristina Plonske - Student Information Secretary at Prairie Winds Middle School beginning August 21, 2023. This assignment is for 4 hours per day/5 days per week with a work year of 190 days. She will be placed at step 3, classification B21 of the Educational Secretaries Association salary schedule.

Damian Riewe - Summer Grounds Worker for the District for 8 hours per day/5 days per week beginning July 3 and ending September 1, 2023. He will be compensated at the rate of $13.50 per hour.

Talay Sartell - Summer Grounds Worker for the District for 8 hours per day/5 days per week beginning July 10 and ending September 1, 2023. He will be compensated at the rate of $13.50 per hour. 

Tyler Sorenson - Summer Grounds Worker for the District for 8 hours per day/5 days per week beginning June 8 and ending September 1, 2023. He will be compensated at the rate of $13.50 per hour. This is in addition to his Health and Wellness Paraeducator assignment at West High School.

Toni Hames - Increase in assignment as part-time AVID Teacher at East High School from 0.50 FTEs to 0.667 FTEs beginning August 28, 2023, for the 2023-24 school year. This is in addition to her part-time (0.50 FTEs) Secondary Mentor Coach (TOSA) assignment at East High School.

Eric Koser - Continue as Part-time (0.50 FTEs) Mentor Coach and Part-time (0.50 FTEs) Science Teacher at West High School ending June 30, 2026.

Elvia Brinks - Change in assignment from ABE Teaching Assistant Substitute to ABE Teaching Assistant with the Adult Basic Education Program for 2.25 hours per day/3 days per week (T-TH) beginning September 14, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $17.00 per hour.

Nicholas Danger - Increase hourly rate to $13.75 as ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute beginning July 6, 2023. 

Kristin Diekmann - Change in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator from 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week at Monroe Elementary School to 6.5 hours per day/5 days per week at Bridges Community School beginning September 7, 2023. 

Amber Gurley - Change in assignment from Childcare Assistant Teacher to Classroom Teacher at Lincoln Logs Learning Center for 6.5 hours per day/4 days per week (M-TH) beginning July 1, 2023. She will be compensated at the rate of $19.50 per hour.

Charles Jansen - Change in assignment from Floating Day Custodian for the District to Custodian in Charge of Building at MAPS Center for Learning beginning July 1, 2023. This is a full-time, 12-month, 8 hour per day position. He will be placed at classification B22, step 3,  in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Adam Krueger - Change in assignment from 8-Hour Evening Custodian at Roosevelt Elementary School to Full-time Custodian Engineer at Hoover Elementary School beginning July 17, 2023. He will be placed at classification B22, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Mandy Kurth - Decrease in assignment as Childcare Lead Teacher with Lincoln Logs Learning Center from 7 hours per day/4 days per week to 6.5 hours per day/4 days per week beginning July 1, 2023. This is in addition to her GED Proctor assignment with the Adult Basic Education Program.

Mandy Kurth - Increase hourly rate to $23.50 as Childcare Lead Teacher with Lincoln Logs Learning Center and GED Proctor with the Adult Basic Education Program beginning July 1, 2023. 

Nohemi Quiroz De Ponce - Increase hourly rate to $17.00 as ABE Teaching Assistant with the Adult Basic Education Program at Lincoln Community Center beginning September 12, 2023. 

Emily Rowbotham - Increase hourly rate to $17.25 as ACES Site Lead at Franklin Elementary School beginning July 6, 2023.

TERMINATION/NON-RENEWAL (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Due to the uncertainty of funding, restructuring, and budget reductions and in accordance with Article XII, Section 1 of the Agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employees Association (MSEA), the administration recommends that the employment of the probationary paraeducators listed below be terminated at the end of the 2022-23 school year effective June 7, 2023.
