Resolution Supporting East and West High School MSHSL Grant Request
Background:
In 2007 the State Legislature passed a law which dedicated the sales tax proceeds from Sectional and State Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) events to the MSHSL Foundation. The MSHSL Foundation provides grants back to MSHSL members to support scholarships for students qualifying for a free or reduced price lunch to participate in co-curricular activities. The grant guidelines require that the School Board pass a resolution detailing how the funds will be used.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends approval of the attached resolution Form A.
