Resolution Supporting East and West High School MSHSL Grant Request
Background:
In 2007 the State Legislature passed a law which dedicated the sales tax proceeds from Sectional and State Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) events to the MSHSL Foundation. The MSHSL Foundation provides grants back to MSHSL members to assist school districts in providing seminars/training opportunities or support for specific school functions for students/faculty members/officials and others who are involved in athletic and fine arts programs. The grant guidelines require that the School Board pass a resolution detailing how the funds will be used.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends approval of the attached resolution Form B.
