Included with your Board materials this evening is the 2024-2025 school year Mankato Area Public Schools tax levy recommendation.  The counties have mailed a notice of proposed property taxes to all property owners. Under state law, the District must conduct a public meeting to receive citizen input regarding the levy proposal.  As part of the public meeting, the District is required to review its proposed 2024-2025 tax levy and its current budget for school year 2023-2024.  The School Board is scheduled to take final action in regard to the 2024-2025 tax levy at the School Board meeting on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 5:30 P.M. at the Intergovernmental Center.
