APPOINTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Laura Dauffenbach - Long-term Substitute Teacher for Lillian McNamara at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning November 6, 2024, and ending March 7, 2025. She will be placed at step 3 of the M+45 lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule.

Amelia Schutte - Full-time (1.00 FTEs) Licensed School Nurse at MAPS Center for Learning beginning November 25, 2024. She will be placed at step 10 of the M lane on the Teachers Association salary schedule, contingent upon obtaining licensure. 

APPOINTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Sandra Harang - Cook Helper at MAPS Center for Learning for 6 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 12, 2024. She will be placed at classification A11, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Ryan Leinen - 8-hour, 12-month Evening Custodian at Prairie Winds Middle School beginning November 26, 2024. He will be placed at classification A13, step 3, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Braeden Metzler - ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School for 1.75 hours per day/2 days per week beginning November 7, 2024. He will be compensated at the rate of $13.00 per hour.

Maryam Mohamud - Special Education Paraeducator (Intervention-ASD) at Kennedy Elementary School for 4.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 12, 2024. She will be placed at classification B22, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Abbie Perry - Student Success Coach at Kennedy Elementary School for 6.25 hours per day/2 days per week (T/TH) beginning November 19, 2024. She will be placed at classification B22, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Courtney Reeves - Cook Helper at Dakota Meadows Middle School for 6 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 6, 2024. She will be placed at classification A11, step 2, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

Charles Reilly - Special Education Paraeducator (Intervention-Behavior Support) at Prairie Winds Middle School for 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 18, 2024. He will be placed at classification B22, step 1, in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Minnesota School Employee Association.

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Jennifer Snyder - Change in assignment as part-time Alternative Instruction Teacher (PEEK) at Dakota Meadows Middle School from (0.50 FTEs) beginning November 11, 2024, to (0.60 FTEs) beginning November 6, 2024. 

CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL) 
Gibson Blackstad - Increase hourly rate to $13.50 as ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute beginning December 2, 2024. 

Anisa Egal - Increase hourly rate to $11.13 as ACES Child Care Associate at Rosa Parks Elementary School beginning January 1, 2025.

Jayda Defoe - Increase hourly rate to $11.13 as ACES Child Care Associate Substitute beginning January 1, 2025.

Susana Garcia-Cruz - Change in assignment from 8-Hour Evening Custodian to 8-hour Lead Evening Custodian at Prairie Winds Middle School beginning November 4, 2024. She will be compensated according to her placement on the Minnesota School Employee Association salary schedule. 

Ella Haggerty - Change in assignment from ACES Child Care Associate Substitute to ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute on an on-call basis beginning December 16, 2024. She will be compensated at the rate of $13.00.

Maryan Hersi - Voluntary decrease in assignment as Early Learning Special Education Paraeducator (Intervention) at MAPS Center for Learning from 7 hours per day/4 days per week (M-TH) to 3.5 hours per day/4 days per week (M-TH) beginning November 22, 2024. 

Payton Pietsch - Increase hourly rate to $13.75 as ACES Child Care Assistant at Monroe Elementary School beginning December 2, 2024. 

Cloey Ruch - Change in assignment from ACES Child Care Associate Substitute to ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute on an on-call basis beginning December 22, 2024. She will be compensated at the rate of $13.00 per hour. 

Matthew Simonson - Increase hourly rate to $15.00 as ACES Student Support Assistant at Franklin Elementary School beginning December 2, 2024. This is in addition to his Special Education Paraeducator assignment at Franklin Elementary School.

Anne Sweeney - Increase in assignment as Special Education Paraeducator (Intervention-DCD) at East High School from 6.75 hours per day/5 days per week to 7 hours per day/5 days per week beginning November 4, 2024. 

Darshawn Walker - Increase in assignment from 4-hour, 9-month Evening Custodian to 8-hour, 12-month Evening Custodian at Kennedy Elementary School beginning November 4, 2024. 

Addison Wilhelm - Increase hourly rate to $11.13 as ACES Child Care Associate Substitute beginning January 1, 2025. 

Hiroko Wollam - Increase hourly rate to $17.87 as ABE Teaching Assistant with the Adult Basic Education Program at Lincoln Community Center beginning July 1, 2024. 

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (INSTRUCTIONAL)
Danielle Edstrom - Adjust dates for Board-approved leave beginning November 5, 2024, and returning to work on February 10, 2025. 

Betsey Matas - ECFE Parent Educator and Early Learning Special Education Paraeducator at MAPS Center for Learning, has requested unpaid leave beginning October 21 and returning to work on November 12, 2024. She is eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits available.

Lillian McNamara - Adjust start date to November 5, 2024, for Board-approved leave. 

Jesse Pigman - Mathematics Teacher at Prairie Winds Middle School, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning April 28 and returning to work on May 26, 2025. 

Amanda Sellner - Science Teacher at Dakota Meadows Middle School, has requested unpaid leave beginning October 22, 2024, and returning to work on January 27, 2025. She is eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits available.

Serenity Zwaschka - Special Education Teacher at Jefferson Elementary School, has requested unpaid leave beginning October 25 and returning to work on December 17, 2024. They are eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits available.

REQUESTS FOR LEAVE (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Melanie Gerold - Custodian Engineer at Lincoln Community Center, has requested leave under the provisions of the Family Medical Leave Act beginning October 24 and returning to work on November 18, 2024. 

Taylor Homan - Adjust return date to February 14, 2025, for Board-approved leave.

Rita Jones - Early Learning Paraeducator at MAPS Center for Learning, has requested unpaid leave beginning October 15 and returning to work on October 31, 2024. She is eligible to use any applicable fringe benefits available.

Michael Stoeckel - Adjust return date to November 11, 2024, for Board-approved leave.

RESIGNATIONS (NON-INSTRUCTIONAL)
Jennifer Clausen - Adjust end date to October 30, 2024, as Building Secretary at Futures/SUN.

Mindy Fritz - ACES Child Care Assistant at Roosevelt Elementary School has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be November 15, 2024. 

Maryan Hersi - Early Learning Special Education Paraeducator (Intervention) at MAPS Center for Learning, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be November 26, 2024. 

Lindsey Rockvam - ACES Child Care Assistant Substitute has submitted a resignation. The last day for this assignment will be August 16, 2024. She will continue as Health & Wellness Paraeducator at SUN. 

Angie Yang - Special Education Paraeducator at Prairie Winds Middle School, has submitted a resignation. The last day of employment will be August 16, 2024.
 

Recommended Action:

The Administration recommends the approval of the personnel items.
