Acceptance of Gifts and Grants

Background:

Matthew and Brandy Crawford donated $100 for East High VEX Robotics Program

Robert Chesley donated $5,000 for Central High School

Mid-States Mechanical Services Inc. donated 40 feet of pipe ($500 value) for East & West High Schools Welding & Fab Tech BBQ grill project

MAYBA donated $17,860 for East High Batting Cages

City of North Mankato donated a total of $3,500 for the following:

$500 for 77 Lancers
$500 for Dakota Meadows Middle School Achievement
$500 for District 77 Student Activities ($250 East & $250 West)
$1,000 for North Mankato Elementary
$500 for Mankato East Football
$500 for Mankato West Football

Community Education Rec on the Go Program received the following donations:

$8,000 from Prairie Ecology Bus Center
$5,000 from Mayo Clinic Health System

Mankato West High Orchesis Program received the following donations:

$100 from Madison Deals, LLC
$100 from Steve & Kathy Duea
$100 from Southern Minnesota Orthodontics, P.A.
$100 from Mankato Motors Co.
$150 from Skogen Mechanical, LLC
$500 from Minnesota Home Tours

Scheels donated the following donations:

$1,000 for West High Boys Hockey Program
$1,000 for West High Girls Hockey Program
$1,000 for West High Girls Lacrosse Program

East High School DECA Program received the following donations:

$500 from Optimists Club of MN Valley
$500 from WOW Zone

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends Board acceptance of these generous gifts and grants.
