2025-2026 School Calendar Adjustment
Background:
Adjustments will need to be made to the 2025-2026 school calendar to maximize efficiency and minimize disruptions to learning. To optimize the time available for bond construction and HVAC projects, eight additional days will be added to the summer of 2026. To achieve this, the school year will start one week earlier, the week of August 25th, and three previously scheduled non-school days will now be instructional days. With these changes, the school year will end sooner—on May 22, 2026.
In conjunction with these adjustments, 9th grade students will start school on August 25th, a day prior to 10-12th graders and 6th grade students will start August 26th, a day prior to 7th and 8th grade students.
