Approval of Annual Assurance of Compliance Report
Background:
Each year, school districts in Minnesota must submit an Assurance of Compliance with State and Federal laws prohibiting discrimination to the Department of Education. Although a written copy is no longer required, MN Rule 3535.9910 requires Board action to approve the submission. The administration recommends that the School Board authorize the Superintendent to submit this Assurance. By doing so, the district confirms compliance with state and federal laws as listed below.

Recommended Action:
The administration recommends authorizing the Superintendent to submit this Assurance.
