Act on 2016-17 Employee Health Insurance Renewal Rates
Background:
Mankato Area Public Schools recently received notice from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BC/BS) that there will be a 9% rate increase in the District’s employee health insurance program for the 2016-2017 school year. The monthly rates will be as follows:

Recommended Action:
The administration and the employee insurance committee recommend acceptance of the 9% rate increase for the 2016-2017 health insurance programs.
