Closing Early Childhood Special Education to Open Enrollment
Background:
Minnesota Statute 120.062 Enrollment Options Program requires a School Board to adopt specific standards for the rejection of the Open Enrollment Program applications due to program student capacity limitations. The administrative team will present a recommendation to close the Early Childhood Special Education programs serving students ages Birth to 6. Stephanie White, Director of Student Support Services, will be at the Board meeting to respond to questions regarding this recommendation.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends closing ECSE to Open Enrollment.
