Background:
Central Freedom School received the following donations:
Laurie Fox - $140
John and Delores Pfau - $100
Richard and Mary Gaskins - $100
The Mankato Basketball Association donated $2,000 to Prairie Winds Middle School for basketball hoops.
East High VEX Robotics received a donation of $225 from Peggy Walters and the Michael D. Walters Memorial.
West High VEX Robotics received $100 from the North Mankato Firefighters Relief Association and $100 from Joseph and Beatrice Moosally.
Prairie Ecology Bus Center provided a grant of $9,000 to Bridges Community School and a $1,200 grant to Franklin Elementary School for a “buddy bench.”
Quality 1 Hr Foto donated labor and materials valued at $250 to East High Activities for the Spring Honors poster.
TruValue Hardware donated 425 window gardens valued at $2,545 to the District to be used in our elementary schools.
Junior Achievement of Mankato donated school supplies valued at $500 to Washington Elementary School.
Mayo Foundation donated $2,000 to be used for equipment at East and West High Schools.
Munchkin Markets donated $380.05 to the Family Learning Center.
The West High Girls Swim Team received an anonymous donation of $1,000.
Community Charities of Minnesota donated $4,000 to the East High Activities Department.
The Dollar Tree of Mankato donated school supplies valued at $900 to our District to be distributed through our elementary schools.
West High Football received the following donations:
