2015-16 Compensatory Revenue

Background:

Attached is the 2015-16 Compensatory Revenue Allocation provided by the Minnesota Department of Education. Also, attached is the Minnesota Statute to define appropriate uses of the revenue. Compensatory Revenue will be used to provide continued support for parental involvement activities, structured study centers, ESL staff, guidance counseling staff, Assurance of Mastery staff, and secondary attendance services at our school sites. Sites that generate Compensatory Revenue that exceeds the expenditures for those programs will be instructed to submit a plan for the additional funds to the Superintendent for approval. The allocation of the discretionary funds are attached and shown below.
